In a world that pushes us to move faster and do more, it’s no surprise that burnout and overwhelm have become the new normal. You might feel this pressure in your body—maybe it’s the tension building in your neck and shoulders at the end of each day, or the mental exhaustion leaving you drained. Or maybe, you’ve tried to unwind, ‘do nothing,’ and load up on self-care rituals, but the stress still clings to you—leaving your body heavy and mind restless.

Despite what the modern healing world teaches, you don’t need to do more to feel better.

This is where Reiki comes in and offers a gentle, slow approach to healing, honouring your body’s need for rest and balance. Whether in-person or online, you’ll settle into a space that’s completely yours to detach from the outside world for a moment — one that’s quiet, calming, and deeply restorative.

Reiki is a hands-on (or off) practice that lets your body set the pace, as soft, healing energy flows through you - releasing tension and soothing your nervous system. You might feel warmth, tingling, or a subtle wave of energy moving through, gradually lightening the physical and emotional load you’ve been carrying. Think of it as a soft, nourishing massage for your nervous system and energy body.

After your session, you may feel:

You’ve probably noticed it—that tightness in your chest, the racing thoughts, the feeling like something is weighing you down. And still, you push through, thinking you just need to be stronger or more productive and it’ll all be fine. But what if those feelings are your body’s way of telling you something’s off or no longer aligned? What if those feelings are trying to show you how you can set yourself free?

Somatic Coaching helps you unravel what’s beneath those sensations and hear what your body is trying to say. Together, we’ll gently explore how stress, overwhelm, and pressure show up in your body & life—whether it’s struggling to make decisions, feeling disconnected from yourself and those around you, or always needing to be ‘on’ and bringing your ‘A game.’

In these sessions, we work slowly and gently, meeting you exactly where you are. This slow pace is intentional, allowing us to take a ‘bottom-up’ approach, working with the body’s subtle cues first. By moving at a pace that honours your body first, we begin to unravel the effects of “urgency culture” and help you reconnect with what feels truly aligned.

This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about building awareness, processing that which feels stuck, and living more mindfully, one small step at a time.

As you learn how to honour your body’s cues, you’ll start to work with yourself, instead of against yourself.

In our sessions, you’ll experience:

  • A nurturing space to explore, metabolise, move through stuck emotions, stressors and undigested life experiences

  • Gentle somatic techniques (like guided body scans or instinctive movement) to attune into your body’s sensations

  • Optional Reiki healing for deeper energetic release

  • Tools to shift outdated nervous system holding patterns, foster self-trust & resilience, and revive suppressed parts of yourself

These sessions go deep, allowing you to repair, reorganise and reconnect with parts of yourself ready for healing and transformation.

After working together, you’ll begin to notice:

  • Moments of peace and a feeling of “I’ve got this!”, replacing constant anxiety & self-doubt

  • A sense of freedom from the tightness & emotional weight you’ve carried

  • Confidence in handling life’s challenges with more clarity and calm
